Terms of service
Production Times
Most Edward Brown Jewellery pieces are made to order. Please refer to the estimate provided on each product listing for specific turnaround times. If you require your design by a particular date, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm whether this is possible. While we will make every effort to meet stated timeframes, production times are an estimate only and may be subject to change or delays.
Duties and Taxes (International Orders)
International orders may be subject to duties, customs fees or local taxes depending on the recipient country. As the recipient, you are responsible for paying these charges, which are necessary to release your order from customs.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This rights-based protection applies regardless of our Warranty or Returns Policy outlined below.
Faults
Our jewellery is crafted with care, but variations may occur between individual pieces. Normal wear and tear is not considered a fault. If you believe your piece is faulty, please contact our team at edward@edwardbrownjewellery.com so it can be assessed in line with Australian Consumer Law and our warranty guidelines.
Repairs
Repairs are available on a case-by-case basis and may incur a fee depending on the nature of the repair. Please see our Warranty & Repairs section below.
Sizing
Please refer to our Sizing Guide before ordering. If you require a custom size, let us know when placing your order. If an incorrect size is ordered, we will happily resize your ring one size up or down free of charge.
Further resizing may incur a fee, quoted on a case-by-case basis. Customers are responsible for all postage and redelivery charges associated with resizing.
Please note: for men’s rings and wide-band styles, we recommend ordering half a size larger for comfort.
Our Stones
We offer a selection of natural gemstones as well as high-quality lab-grown diamonds. Each stone is unique, and variations in colour, shade and inclusions are natural and expected. Images on our website are provided as a guide and may not exactly match the final stone used in your piece. We can provide additional images or arrange a viewing prior to production if required.
Payment
All payments on edwardbrownjewellery.com are processed through our secure payment gateway. We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal.

Returns Policy
As most items are made to order, returns or exchanges for change of mind are not available. Please contact us prior to purchase if you have any questions to ensure your chosen piece is right for you.
This policy does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law, where you may be entitled to a refund or replacement in the case of a fault or major failure.
Warranty – All Products
In addition to ACL rights, Edward Brown Jewellery offers the following:
- For the first six months after purchase, we will cover the cost of reasonable repairs due to normal wear.
- After six months, repairs will be quoted at cost.
- Stone tightening (in undamaged rings) and replacement of earring backs or clasps are offered free of charge.
- If another jeweller undertakes work on an Edward Brown Jewellery piece (including repairs or resizing), our warranty will be void.
- Lost stones are not covered under warranty—we strongly recommend insuring your jewellery upon purchase.
Repair Process
If your piece requires repair or resizing, please contact us at edward@edwardbrownjewellery.com.
When returning a piece, please include your order details, contact information, and (for resizing) the new size required. We recommend using a fully insured courier service with signature on delivery. We cannot accept liability for damage caused during return shipping due to inadequate packaging.
Once received, we will confirm costs (if applicable) and provide an estimated timeframe for repair or resizing.
